Dagmar is a former director of East Bay Habitat for Humanity (now Habitat for Humanity East Bay). Dagmar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University and an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business.

Andrea Muchin, Program Coordinator, is a former teacher of second, third and fourth grades in both Los Angeles and Basel, Switzerland. Andrea joined Good Cents for Oakland’s staff in 2006 where she has put her extensive classroom experience to work in assisting with the design of the Penny Roundup Program and coordinating programs at local schools. A former member of the PTA Executive Board at Joaquin Miller Elementary School, she remains an active parent volunteer. Andrea graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from UCLA and a teaching credential from CSU Northridge.

Cassie Quasebarth, VISTA intern, is working with Good Cents for Oakland in conjunction with Americorps for a year long internship position.  She graduated from UC Davis in 2008 with a degree in International Relations and an emphasis in Latin American studies and international development. As an undergraduate she studied abroad in Morelia, Mexico and interned for the Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington, DC. Both of these experiences helped shape her interest in community development, which she wants to pursue a career in and eventually study further in graduate school.
